Track the wine making process:

The unique feature about WineTracker is the ability to track the wine-making process. When a batch of wine is started by a customer, there are often up to 8 or more stages that must be completed before the wine is finished. Until now, that meant tracking the dates and other information with paper and pencil. WineTracker controls and tracks this process with your input and saves the data for a more efficient process.

With WineTracker, when a customer begins a transaction the tracking process is begun immediately. The instant the transaction is finished WineTracker sets customized “reminders” for the user to perform each of the necessary stages and begins to record customized information about that transaction. For example, if you wish to set "rack down" reminders for 6 week kits after 20 days, the system will tell the user when each batch needs to be racked once the user-defined time frame has passed. There are up to 7 other stages that can be reminded in the same fashion.

On a daily basis, WineTracker provides the user with a list of customized reminders for tasks or brew stages that must be accomplished for the day. These reminders are set based on the various ongoing transactions in the store. When the reminders are completed, the date is recorded for each batch of wine, much like you used to do with pencil and paper.

As of version 1.5, the store owner can opt to send automatically generated emails to customers for any stage of the wine-making process. Imagine the knowledge and communication you can foster with your clients. They feel more of a part of the brewing process than ever before.
